The technique of Miracles

In line with the Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary, a Miracle can be an act or event that does not follow the laws of nature and is thought to be caused by God. From the foregoing, maybe it’s seen that this is is in line with the religious sect’s conception of miracles since it sometimes appears as that which hinges on a supreme being (God) i.e a happening that breaks or violate the laws of nature and is brought about by God. But in a philosophical discourse, maybe it’s asked that’s God the best or necessary cause of miracles?

To a layman, maybe it’s viewed as a lucky thing that happen that you did not expect or think was possible it has to do with that which goes beyond human imagination, that which ordinarily isn’t conceivable or imaginable.

St Thomas Acquinas in his own conception says “those things are properly called miracle which are done by divine agency beyond the order commonly observed in nature (praeter ordinem commuter observatum in rebus) Acquires also re-appraises this free acim workbook lessons is as given above that which will be regarded as miracle is that which should have a divine intervention and goes beyond natural happening. Maybe it’s stated that for Acquinas, miracle is that which brought about by the supreme being, God.

Magic, philosophically speaking, is never only coincidence no matter how extraordinary or significant. Like: in the event that you miss an airplane and the plane crashes, that’s not magic unless God divinely caused the event – an event ordinarily distinctive from what can have occurred in the standard natural span of events. It is a divine overriding of, or interference with, the natural order. As such, it will not need to be extra ordinary marvelous or significant and it must be something other than the usual coincidence, no matter how remarkable.

Unless the “coincidence” itself is caused by divine intervention. Miracles, however, are ordinarily understood to be not only products of divine intervention in the natural order but extraordinary, marvelous and significant as well.
